Our client, Northern Rights delivers Personal Development and Employment Support services to benefit disadvantaged people, in particular those with health problems (physical/mental and or social) into work. They have supported a substantial number of people from the North East with training and impartial Matrix accredited Information Advice and Guidance, helping local people make the transition to work.
The team are excited to be able to help more people into the workplace and are recruiting for Business Administrator to join the team.

Currently based in South Tyneside.
As a Business Administrator, supporting them to overcome their barriers, immediate and long term, towards progression to work related activity which we know is therapeutic to health and wellbeing. You will have an approachable and engaging style and be motivated and hungry to help each individual into work.
Experience:
• Relevant skills that can demonstrate competence in administration and Microsoft office is essential.
• Managing sensitive information using specialist software e.g. EGRESS to transfer sensitive including medical information.
• Updating external records and databases e.g Shared Prosperity Fund, Good Things Foundation and HMRC.
• Up to date knowledge of local VCS e.g Healthnet and First Contact Clinical.
• Attendance at local networking events.
Skills:
• Must be proactive and hold excellent organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to cope with the busy and varying demands of the role and achieve the desired results.
• Ability to problem solve and respond appropriately to a variety of situations.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, EGRESS and external databases.
Your key duties will be:
• Working with participants who meet the eligibility criteria for the project.
• Issue appointment letters and programme information to participants.
• Manage and coordinate training, room bookings and conference and outreach facilities.
• Manage telephone and email enquiries.
• Organise and maintain accurate filing systems, this being paper documents and digital systems for compliance and audit measures.
• Use internal and external CMS to maintain and update databases and use a variety of other software packages (including Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as Adobe) to manage data, produce documents and organise meetings.
• Manage the sharing of personal, sensitive information using EGRESS software.
• Order and maintain stationery and equipment.
• Liaise with staff on other contracts, partners, and external contacts e.g., South Tyneside Council, JCP Work Coaches, and Employers.
• Participate in training and undertake appropriate learning and development, as identified through regular appraisals and reviews with Project Manager
